Is a privately owned company, located at 622 Port Road, Beverley South Australia. Precision, formerly named Southcott Tool & Gauge, was purchased out of receivership in July 1982 as a going concern. At that time the company operated as a tool room. Presently it operates as a manufacturing company, deriving the majority of its income from the Automotive Industry with other sources being White Goods, Building and Material Handling Industries, amongst others. On 1 July 1996 our name changed from Precision Tool and Gauge Pty Ltd to Precision Components Pty Ltd to better reflect our business activities.

Precision Components completed its transition from a Specialty Tooling Company to a Metal Stamping and Assembly Company in late 1996 with the reorganization of our plant, in particular our Tool room, to allow for the installation of additional production equipment. Specifically presses in the 60 ton to 400 ton range. Precision also achieved closure of a public road at the rear of our premises which allows more efficient operations through coordination of our current Port Road site and have other adjacent property we acquired. Further purchases of adjoining property in late 1997 and June 2004 have allowed further consolidation and provide opportunities for expansion.
